Our caching system (LiteSpeed Cache) also stores two small items in your browser's session storage, litespeed_docref and litespeed_reloaded, so that pages load correctly. They do not store personal data and are deleted when you close the tab.
If you use our accessibility widget (AccessiYes, provided by CookieYes), the settings you choose, such as contrast or font, are saved in your browser's local storage under cya11y-user-settings so that they apply on every page. This is only set when you use the widget, does not store personal data and stays until you clear your browser data.

Analytics Cookies
We currently use Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics for website analytics. We currently obtain consent before activating these analytics technologies.
Ahrefs Web Analytics does not set cookies on your device. It is listed here because its script only runs once you have consented to Analytics cookies.
The Google tag we use for Google Analytics also shares measurement data with Google Merchant Center, which we use to measure the performance of our product listings.

Performance Cookies

Advertisement
We may use advertising and marketing technologies from providers such as Meta, Google and Mailchimp to measure advertising performance, support advertising and email marketing campaigns and, where applicable, create or use audiences for advertising purposes.
We obtain consent before activating advertising and marketing technologies. This includes Google Tag Manager (which loads the Meta Pixel) and the Mailchimp site script.
With your consent to Advertisement cookies, Google Analytics advertising features may also be used to build audiences for Google Ads, and Meta may set its own cookies on facebook.com when the Meta Pixel runs. These third-party cookies are governed by Google's and Meta's own policies.
These technologies also use your browser's local storage. The Meta Pixel stores lastExternalReferrer and lastExternalReferrerTime (the website that referred you to us and when). The Mailchimp site script stores items beginning with mcforms-233410838, and mcforms_event_233410838, including a visitor ID, the pages you have viewed and the state of our sign-up forms. They are only set after you consent to Advertisement cookies and stay until you clear your browser data.
